Rosemary was all about broccoli last night, amazingly. The girl has refused to eat vegetables (besides french fries, of course) for MONTHS. At first she also wouldn’t eat fruit, but for the last couple months it’s just most fruit. So last night was a Big Deal. Then she tried to ruin it by refusing to go to bed for an hour and a half past bedtime, for the 4th night in a row. How am I...

Was it man made? The Fresno Bee Saturday, Jan. 07, 2012 | I saw a news article recently about Antarctica. There are two fissures somewhere just off the coast. Each fissure is heating the water to more than 700 degrees. Seems the fish and mollusks are doing quite well. Do you think the volcanoes heating up the water could have something to do with the ice melt around Antarctica? Or is it man-made...

Don't Throw Away Your Slutty Halloween Costumes
tracieeganmorrissey: Because if you ever become a nursing mother they make breastfeeding so much easier. I’ve been frequently wearing the top from when I was Tura Satana, and I yelled, “Noice!” when I found my Barbarella jumpsuit when cleaning out my closet this weekend.

I am enjoying reading Sempre Susan, but at times it is definitely weird, just sitting around reading about Susan Sontag’s periods.

Just hooked up my sweet new dual-band router, downloaded Sempre Susan on the Kindle, and am headed into bed pretending I’m not a little jealous that Pat is at the Ducks/Sharks game probably throwing all sorts of dead animals onto the ice.

britticisms: Every year, this list feels like it gets longer. I can’t say for certain if that is the truth, but it feels like I place greater emphasis on strong singles. Only a handful of albums felt like complete, purposeful statements, but the number of singles that were on point were constant. The… Yes to all, please.

Pica is a real thing
Today we took the baby to the beach and I’m pretty sure she didn’t get pinkeye this time. She did however drop everything she ate into the sand on purpose before she put it in her mouth. This was fun/tasty for some reason? Yeah, not disorder-level. She was just being gross.
