Time for my old favorite: Worthwhile Letters to the Editor in the Fresno Bee that should definitely be published
Was it man made?

I saw a news article recently about Antarctica. There are two fissures somewhere just off the coast. Each fissure is heating the water to more than 700 degrees. Seems the fish and mollusks are doing quite well.
Do you think the volcanoes heating up the water could have something to do with the ice melt around Antarctica? Or is it man-made global warming? Which cause would you pick? Which cause would environmentalists pick?

Thanks, scientist. This paper is totally not going to cease to exist in the next 5 years.
